Rates and Delivery
In order to get a quotation on a project, please send me the text you require to be translated or proof-read (preferably by email) together with a detailed description of the project. Please download and fill in the template Translation and Editing brief, and send it along with any reference material you can provide that may benefit the project and to make sure that the translation lives up to your expectations
Translations are usually charged per word in the source text, and for proof-reading and editing I charge per hour.
Depending on the quality of the source text, and it’s degree of difficulty, format and size, my rates range from 0.11 EUR per word (excl. VAT) for translations, and for proof-reading and editing I charge 35 EUR per hour (excl. VAT). For small projects a minimum charge of 35 EUR applies per project. A lower rate can be discussed if it is a large project, an update of a previous project, if the text contains a large amount of repetitions, or if a continuous work flow for a specific time can be guaranteed. Express delivery might also be discussed, for which an additional charge will apply.
The easiest and most common way to receive and deliver a project is by email, but, of course, other delivery options are also available. I will begin working on the project as soon as I have received an approved quotation from you.
